Learning the instruments, the encyclopedia, Volume One of the book, and the structure and correspondences of every cast cost nothing — with or without an account. Practice itself earns points:
- Welcome grant: +15, spread over your first 3 days
- +30 points when you create an account
- +10 points on your first cast
- Daily check-in: +1, +2, +3 on a streak, then +2–3 a day
- +3 points per journal entry, up to 2 a day
AI readings, by depth
Every reading is anchored to the structure of your specific cast — the depth sets how strong a model reads it and how far the reading reaches.

Is MANIFOLD GATES free?
For practice, yes. Verifying a cast, the encyclopedia and the traditional reading are free. A cast itself costs a small number of points, and everyday practice — the daily check-in, a journal entry — earns them, so casting never requires paying. Points also pay for AI readings, by depth.

What exactly do points buy?
Casts, three depths of AI reading, optional follow-up questions, and unlocking Volume Two of the book or a locked article. Every cost is shown before you spend — there are no hidden meters. Costs may change over time, but never retroactively for anything you have already unlocked, and a change never touches the points already in your balance.

Do I need the subscription?
No. Top-ups work on their own and never expire. Pro is simply the cheaper path if you read deeply most days — it grants 1,500 points each month.

What happens if an AI reading fails?
If a reading fails or degrades to the traditional interpretation, the points are refunded automatically. You never pay for a reading you didn't receive.

Can I cancel Pro?
Anytime, with the payment provider you subscribed through. Your plan runs to the end of the paid period; earned and bought points remain yours.
