Six Doors · No. 53
第53卦 渐 Jiàn · Gradual Progress
Essence: Advance the way a tree grows: slowly, rooted, in order.
I
Judgment
Some things can only be accomplished in sequence, like a formal betrothal in which no step may be skipped. Gradual development looks slow, but every stage lays down foundations that cannot be undone. Keep to the right order and the right pace—slowness is this road's advantage.
